Print FNSKU Labels on a Thermal Printer
Print Amazon FNSKU labels on your thermal printer from the PDF Seller Central gives you. Upload it here to get ZPL, the Zebra printer language, so the label prints at its true size without a driver scaling the barcode.
No PDF yet? Make one label with the FNSKU label generator. Roll with two labels across? See 2-up thermal labels.
Upload a label to convert
Drag and drop a PDF document here, or click to browse your computer.
Several labels? Drop all the files at once, or a ZIP.
Note on Watermarks: Any single label converts free with a watermark, so use it to test the fit, not for inventory you'll ship. Converting a whole file is part of LabelZoom Pro.
ZPL carries the label's own size, so there's no fit-to-page setting to get wrong.
A 30-up sheet comes apart into single labels that feed from a roll.
A shipment with hundreds of the same label goes out as one label and a print quantity.
How to print FNSKU labels on a thermal printer
- 1
In Seller Central, print item labels for your shipment. If it offers a thermal size that matches your roll, choose that, and download the PDF.
- 2
Upload the PDF above in the default mode. If the converter offers Split pages… for a sheet, accept it. Otherwise, set Label stock to your roll, or to Same as your PDF pages.
- 3
Convert one label and scan it. When it reads correctly, convert all labels and send the ZPL to your printer.
What to do with each Amazon label file
Amazon's label files come in several shapes. The right route depends on the one you have.
| You have | Do this | Print on |
|---|---|---|
| Thermal PDF, one label per page | Choose One label per page, then set the label stock to your PDF's page size | A roll of that size |
| 30-up Letter sheet | Choose Split pages… | A 2.625 × 1 in roll |
| Thermal PDF, roll with 2 labels across | Follow the 2-up steps | A 2-up roll |
| Box label on Letter or A4 | Choose Crop to the label | A 4 × 6 in or 100 × 150 mm label |
A .zpl shipping label | See Amazon ZPL labels | Any printer, after converting to PDF |
A sheet label is cut out at its own size and isn't shrunk. A 2.625 in wide label on a 2 in roll loses its right side, so for a narrower roll, ask Seller Central for that thermal size instead of a sheet.
FNSKU label size
These are the sheet sizes Seller Central offers, as reported by sellers, plus common rolls. Amazon's current requirements are in Seller Central, and LabelZoom can't confirm that a label meets them.
| Format | Label size | Paper |
|---|---|---|
| 2 × 1 in roll | 50.8 × 25.4 mm | Thermal roll |
| 30-up sheet | 2.625 × 1 in (66.7 × 25.4 mm) | US Letter |
| 21-up sheet | 63.5 × 38.1 mm | A4 |
| 27-up sheet | 63.5 × 29.6 mm | A4 |
| 40-up sheet | 52.5 × 29.7 mm | A4 |
| 44-up sheet | 48.5 × 25.4 mm | A4 |
Which printers can print FNSKU labels as ZPL
| Printer | ZPL | What to print |
|---|---|---|
| Zebra desktop and industrial printers | Yes | The ZPL file from this page |
| Printers with ZPL emulation | Check the manual | The ZPL file, after a test label |
| Rollo, DYMO and other brands | Check the manual | Without ZPL, Amazon's thermal PDF through the driver at 100% |
Why this matters more in 2026
Printing item labels is now routine for many US sellers. Amazon's US prep and labeling services ended on January 1, 2026, and since March 31, 2026, the end of commingling means sellers without the Brand Representative role sticker each unit they ship in. That's as of October 2026, so check Seller Central for your account. Amazon's own thermal PDF is a sound choice if it prints cleanly on your setup. Use ZPL if driver scaling keeps getting in the way, or if you print from a warehouse system.
